Uncommon Legacy promotes the visibility, strength and vitality
of the lesbian community by awarding scholarships to lesbian
students and grants to projects and organizations that address

Asian and Friends is a non-profit social group for GLBT Asians

Houston
A social support group for bisexuals and bi-friendly people,
BiNet provides a friendly, supportive environment for people
who are questioning their sexuality, people who know their
orientation or people who want to know more. BiNet also runs
a Bi-Line and co-hosts After Hours the first Saturday each

Classic
Chassis Car Club - Houston
Classic Chassis is a gay and lesbian group whose members own
or have an interest in vintage and classic cars, models, literature
or other automobilia. The club's purpose is to encourage appreciation,
restoration and acquisition of these automobiles in a fun
social environment. Members share information, help with care
projects and maintenance and, above all, have fun enjoying
their cars. The club hosts monthly events including parties
at members' homes, outings at local clubs and restaurants,
informational workshops and cruises through Houston and surrounding
areas. The Houston club was founded in 1989. Sister groups
are located in Austin, Dallas and San Antonio. Dues are $25
for individuals and $35 for couples. The club meets the first
Wednesday each month at 7 p.m. at World Cafe, 1340 W. Gray.
