Classic Chassis Car Club - Houston
Classic Chassis is a gay and lesbian group whose members own or have an interest in vintage and classic cars, models, literature or other automobilia. The club's purpose is to encourage appreciation, restoration and acquisition of these automobiles in a fun social environment. Members share information, help with care projects and maintenance and, above all, have fun enjoying their cars. The club hosts monthly events including parties at members' homes, outings at local clubs and restaurants, informational workshops and cruises through Houston and surrounding areas. The Houston club was founded in 1989. Sister groups are located in Austin, Dallas and San Antonio. Dues are $25 for individuals and $35 for couples. The club meets the first Wednesday each month at 7 p.m. at World Cafe, 1340 W. Gray.
